The Tribe 12 Fellowship is a leadership experience for individuals that are dedicated to personal growth, enriching our communities, and making Judaism their own. Through a curriculum built on the themes of self discovery, philanthropy, emotional intelligence, and entrepreneurship, Fellows will apply the tangible skills they learn to create a capstone project of their own design: a new or existing business, nonprofit, community, or anything in between!
The Fellowship takes place over the course of four months (January-May) and is designed to run concurrently with work or school obligations. Our Fellows are immersed in rich, experiential business workshops with curriculum built around both the Stanford d.school’s Design Thinking methodology and key Jewish principles. The program has a particular emphasis on entrepreneurial skills like prototyping, public speaking, financials, goal setting, and environmental scanning. Each Fellow is matched with a coach and Tribe 12 Fellowship alumnus, both of whom guide them through the process.
The power is in the network: Fellows meet and are trained by successful entrepreneurs, are matched with two mentors and a cluster of their peers, and have access to subject matter experts in many fields. Our Fellows graduate with concrete takeaways — an elevator pitch, a business plan, a showcase in front of hundreds of people — as well as entrepreneurial skills and an enduring network to support them as they continue to grow.
