JewishJobs.com Job Posting Policies
Customarily JewishJobs.com Job Posters are legally recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or actively involved in serving the nonprofit Jewish communal marketplace, such as executive placement within nonprofit Jewish communal organizations, poviding software for synagogues, nonprofit tax accounting, and other service providers. Recruitment agencies, board members, nonprofit employees and volunteers may post jobs on behalf of organizations.
No job advertisement or Job Seeker resume shall contain any mention of pornography, drugs, or arms and shall not contain any explicit material that does not comply with the laws of the United States.
Multiple Job Seeker resumes that have been submitted by the same user and are identical in content will be removed and replaced with the most recently submitted resume, leaving only one resume submitted.
JewishJobs.com reserves the rights to refuse, edit, delete, or remove any job, resume, Job Seeker account, or Job Poster account or any other user account for any purpose, including for purposes of space, content, transparency, or abuse of this service.
Resumes or job postings that solicit or advertise business products or services not in accordance with the JewishJobs.com site purpose will be removed without notification.
Should a Job Poster flag the account of a Job Seeker for abuse of service, JewishJobs.com will investigate and will take appropriate action, including but not limited to emailing the Job Seeker a warning, editing the account, banning the user, and possible legal action.
JewishJobs.com reserves the right to delete any Job Poster account, Job Seeker account, and ban any user without warning or notice.
JewishJobs.com does not allow Job Posters to post jobs if the Job Poster has an email auto-responder configured to the email address that is receiving emails from JewishJobs.com. Job Posters who post jobs and have the resume recipient email address configured with an auto-responder will receive a notification email of our policy. Failure to remove the auto-responder or change the email address within a reasonable period of time will result in the removal of the job posting.
JewishJobs.com does not allow Job Posters to post jobs if the Job Seeker is required to register with a third party service in order to apply to the job. Requiring Job Seekers to register with a third party service may be preceived by users as an endorsement of a service which is not endorsed by JewishJobs.com. Job Posters that post advertisements which fail this requirement will be notified by JewishJobs.com and the job(s) in question will be edited or deleted.
JewishJobs.com encourages Job Posters to abide by the nonprofit industry standard when fundraising. For nonprofits that use our site, commission-based, finder's fees or bonus-based pay structures are explicitly prohibited. This requirement is consistent with the best practices of the industry. Job Posters that post advertisements which fail this requirement may be notified by JewishJobs.com and/or the job(s) in question may be edited or deleted.
If abuse of JewishJobs.com is determined by the JewishJobs.com administrator, server log, Job Posters complaints, Job Seeker complaints, or resume or job posting, JewishJobs.com reserves the right to block individual users from using this site without prior notification.
