Sprout Westchester is a Jewish day camp located on beautiful campgrounds in Croton on Hudson in Westchester County and enrolls campers entering Pre-K through 6th grade.
Camp runs from June 29th-August 20th Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-4:00 pm with staff training beginning at the end of June.
Sprout is seeking mature, responsible, and creative individuals to serve as program specialists. The program specialists will work with the Program Director and staff leadership to plan and execute their specialty area at camp. We are seeking specialists in all areas: aquatics, athletics, nature, creative and performing arts, outdoor adventure, archery, and music/song leading. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work collaboratively with a passionate team at a new Jewish day camp.
Available for the entirety of the camp and training season
At least 21 years old
Experience working with children entering pre-K-6th grade
Leadership experience and the ability to work positively with other staff members
Experience working in and teaching the performing arts
Serve as a positive role model for campers and other staff members
Is creative, enthusiastic, and flexible
Is aligned with our mission of providing a Jewish camping experience that builds a joyful community where everyone participates and supports one another
