A: To post a position, please open an Job Poster account. Once you are logged into JewishJobs.com as a Job Poster, please click on Post a Job.
Register with JewishJobs.com.


Q: How much does JewishJobs.com cost?

A: To post one job on JewishJobs.com for 2 months costs $249.98. Once posted on JewishJobs.com, your job will rotate on the JewishJobs.com homepage, be listed in various ways on our site, and also be included in our popular weekly email for up to one month, which is sent to approximately 64,196 email subscribers each Wednesday.

Q: How do I edit my job listing?
A: To edit your job, please log into your account as a Job Poster and click on "Jobs" and then click on "edit" to edit your job listing. Be sure to "Save" the changes you made to your job listing.


Q: Does JewishJobs.com really work?
A: Yes! Many organizations and individuals have used JewishJobs.com successfully. Many individuals have been hired directly due to JewishJobs.com, and many nonprofit Jewish communal organizations have hired employees due to JewishJobs.com. Testimonials


Q: When is the best time and day to post a job?
A: The best time and day to post a job is Monday - Friday, between the hours of 9 AM EST and 5 PM EST. On Wednesdays we publish Jewish Jobs Weekly, and we receive the most visitors on Wednesdays. Included is a heat map detailing our busiest days and times.




Q: Is there a way to get a currently posted job moved up to the top of the list?
A: Jobs are listed in reverse chronological order and may be posted and removed one time only. The most recently posted job is listed at the top of the list. For your job listing, you may wait until the job expires automatically at the end of the job listing duration, or you may log into your account and manually expire your job listing and then REPOST the job if you have credit to post jobs. If you do not have credit to post jobs, you will need to make an additional purchase of a job posting option to repost your job. Reposting a job is not free.


Q: Are all Job Posters from the USA, or do other communities outside the United States use JewishJobs.com?
A: JewishJobs.com is used mainly by Jewish organizations in the United States. We do maintain a list of international job listings. International Jobs.


Q: How long does it take to open an account?
A: About two minutes.



Q: Can I pause my job listing so that it is not online for a little while, and have the job go back online later?
A: We do not have a feature to pause job listings. Job listings may be posted and removed one time only.



Q: Can I post a job without a Salary Range?
A: You may post a job without a salary by listing the job salary as “$0” to “$0”, and the job salary will show as “Not Posted”.


Q: How secure is JewishJobs.com?
A: JewishJobs.com utilizes online security measures to protect your information.


Q: We have an active posting for one job and we have a second job that we would like to post. Are we able to get the two job rate?
A: Please note: the discounted rate is available only at the time of purchase. The discounted rate is not available if the jobs are not purchased during the same transaction.


Q: When I post a job, how long does it take for the job to go online?
A: Seconds.


Q: How long does my job remain online?
A: Job Posters may post a job for 30, 45 or 60 days. The price is the same regardless of how long you post your job.


Q: My email address in my job listing is replaced with *****. How do I change that?
A: In the Job Description all email addresses are replaced with asterisks. To apply, a job seeker must log into the website. Once a job seeker logs in, the job seeker may view the Application Instructions.


Q: How do I remove my job listing?
A: To remove your job listing, you will need to log into your Job Poster account and click on Jobs. Then click on Delete to remove the job.


Q: Can I post a confidential job so that my organization's information is kept private?
A: Yes, JewishJobs.com allows Job Posters to post jobs and keep your organization information private. When posting your job, put a check in the "checkbox" when the website asks "Confidential Posting". Specifically, JewishJobs.com keep private the 1) name of the organization, 2) the street address, 3) the city, and 4) the zip code. We do show 1) job title and 2) the state, so that job seekers can find your jobs when searching for jobs.


Q: I'm having trouble logging in. What do I do?
A: Please make sure you are logging in as an Job Poster. To log in, you need to use the same email address as when you opened the account. Once you are logged into JewishJobs.com, you may change your email address to a different address. If you are still having trouble logging in, contact us and we will help you!


Q: How do I see the job listing the way a job seeker might see the listing?
A: To see what your job looks like to job seekers, please log out of your account and visit our homepage. Then search for your job. By viewing your listing you will be able confirm that the job advertisement appears the way you want it to appear.


Q: I made a payment online but I don't see my job listed.
A: The payment process and the job posting process are two different series of actions on our site. It is possible for you to have made a payment, and not to post your job. To see if you have job posting options, please log into your Job Poster Account and scroll down to see your job posting options. Click on "Post a Job".


Q: When is the cut-off time is for getting jobs posted into the weekly newsletter?
A: As long as your job is posted prior to Tuesday 6:00 PM EST, your job will be included on the weekly email, which is sent Wednesday mornings.


Q: Which postings go into the weekly email? Why does the position I posted not show up, if we signed up for a 60 day listing?
A: The 60 days is for the website job posting. The weekly email has the top part dedicated to jobs posted from the previous 7 days. The second part of the weekly email has jobs listed that were posted from the previous 7-30 days. Jobs posted more than 30 days ago are not included on the weekly email.


Q: I want to post a job today and I want to post a job next week. Do I need to buy two separate 1 job posting packages? Or can I buy a 2 job package?
A: Please buy the two job package. You have up to 60 days to use your job posting options. Learn more on our Job Posting Fees page.
