We are seeking a Jewish Life Associate to provide logistical and educational support for programming in the Lower School (K-5) division, as well as in strategic outreach initiatives. This support role would be particularly suitable for an aspiring Jewish educator.
Assisting in day-to-day preparation for and execution of co-curricular programming (food, materials, setups, ritual items, space reservation, logistics, etc.)
Working in partnership with colleagues to envision dynamic programming for Jewish holidays and special events
Serving as a resource and support for colleagues, students, and families as programs are planned and implemented
Updating and maintaining data collection
Collaborating with Lower School Rabbi on strategic school initiatives
Promoting programs and events
Key Competencies and Qualifications:
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, including writing and editing
Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
Capacity to work both independently and as part of an entrepreneurial team
Ability to manage multiple projects at once and collaborate with a variety of people
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google suite, Zoom, Instagram, Facebook, graphic design platforms, and other common technological resources
Preferred: Experience implementing creative Jewish and/or educational programming (such as experiential education, summer camp, youth movement, or service learning
