Briskin Elementary School of Temple Israel of Hollywood, Los Angeles, is an independent Jewish elementary, Kindergarten – Grade 6 school affiliated with the Reform movement.

PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES and EXPERIENCE
We are seeking an accomplished General Studies Teacher who is enthusiastic, creative, warm, open-minded, and passionate about teaching and learning. Ideal candidates understand child development and holistic education, are grounded in Jewish values and have 21st Century skills. The candidate must be approachable, able to engage with students, faculty and parents and work independently and collaboratively.
Degree in education or closely related field.
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of and ability to implement multiple approaches to teaching reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. Minimum of three years of teaching experience. Demonstrated desire to learn and grow throughout career.
Comfortable with technology in the classroom.
