Development Manager

The OneVoice Movement is a global initiative that supports grassroots activists in Israel, Palestine, and internationally who are working to build the human infrastructure needed to create the necessary conditions for a just and negotiated resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

We are seeking a Development Manager who can manage OneVoice’s growing development portfolio and support the lead fundraising points of contact internally with prospecting, tracking, and donor stewardship plans and follow-up, including trip planning and staffing. Key priorities will include leading and managing grant proposals, as well as strategies, procedures and relationship management for individual and foundation solicitations.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, creative thinker, self-starter, team player, and dynamic individual who can meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and has exceptional organizational and program management skills, with an eye for detail and genuine interest in the mission of the OneVoice Movement.

Please note that only candidates with prior fundraising experience and know-how will be considered. Non-profit experience is preferable but not required.

Responsibilities:

Lead on grant, donor and foundation prospecting research.
Lead on developing donor stewardship plans and managing grant reporting and relationship management for new grants that are secured.
Coordinate production and mailing of Annual Reports as well as spring and year-end appeal letters.
Oversee fundraising logistics including maintaining guest lists, gathering and preparing registration materials, and other duties as assigned for fundraising events and delegations.
Process donations and prepare acknowledgement letters and other related correspondences.
Take a leading role in ensuring effective management of our Salesforce database, ensuring the efficient tracking of all current and prospective donors, grants, proposals, and reports and inputting data.
Provide meeting follow-up support, ensuring all necessary documentation is logged in Salesforce and relevant notes and materials are distributed to appropriate individuals.
Provide fundraising and research support to the Global Executive Director, Deputy US Director and our board members
Coordinate on daily tasks with Development Assistant and work as a team to anticipate team and board needs, develop new practices and procedures and seize opportunities to innovate and bring in the adoption of best practices, expertise you bring in, etc.
Lead on writing a fundraising strategy and work closely with the development team on tracking progress v. goals
Play a key role in the development and editing of annual reports, fundraising reports for staff and board leadership, etc.
Other duties as assigned by the Global Executive Director and Deputy US Director.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of relevant fundraising experience.
Excellent writing, editing, program management, and organizational skills.
Flexible, pro-active and resourceful team player, but also incredibly self-driven and self-motivated.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Understanding of and passion for the space in which OneVoice operates and political dynamics in the Middle East.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, ability work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
Capacity to work with and appreciation of diverse communities.
Previous experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Google suite a plus.
