Overview of the Role:
The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) is hiring a tenacious, enthusiastic people-person who will help Jewish adults in their 20s and 30s who are uninvolved in Jewish life or new to the area to connect to Jewish opportunities, build lasting friendships, and discover personally meaningful Jewish life.

We strengthen the fabric of Jewish life by stewarding relationships and helping young professionals connect to Jewish organizations and to each other. We produce innovative opportunities for meaningful and relevant Jewish living and build community among our constituents.

What You’ll Do:
Meet young adults outside of mainstream Jewish settings, proactively facilitating these meeting opportunities.
Maintain an expansive 1:1 engagement portfolio with young adults in the Bay Area
Connect and guide people in finding Jewish paths and other people in order to do the things that matter most to them.
Maintain a knowledge base of diverse resources and happenings for Jewish young people in the area.
Provide tailored support for participant-driven programs and events.
With Program Manager, curate and monitor ENGAJ presence on all relevant social media platforms.
Support Program Manager with tasks related to ENGAJ programming, as appropriate.
Represent ENGAJ at community functions around the Bay Area.

Curious, interested in people, and a good listener.
A natural relationship-builder with an outgoing, professional demeanor.
Someone with a burning desire to help 20s and 30s find their Jewish community.
Interested in learning about diverse Jewish opportunities.
An innovator with a positive spirit who isn’t afraid to take risks.
Fluent in and current with different social media platforms.
Passionate about Jewish community and/or comfortable sharing Jewish wisdom.
A flexible, collaborative team-player.
Experienced with Wix a plus.
