Technology Support Specialist

The Abraham Joshua Heschel School has an opening for a full-time position as a Technology Support Specialist.

The Technology Support Specialist will:
Provide help desk support for students, faculty, and staff
Manage and maintain A/V setups in large performance spaces as well as other spaces
Maintain and troubleshoot classroom A/V equipment (smartboards, projects, etc)
Maintain JAMF Pro policy and enrollments
Use and troubleshooting of performance equipment such as microphones, sound systems, and projectors
Installation, troubleshooting of problems with computers, software, network, and peripheral equipment
G Suite support as needed
Maintain repair certification from Apple and other vendors as needed
Maintain equipment for loan (inventory, repair, distribution, and returns)
Assist faculty with classroom activities that include technology
Lead and participate in technology training sessions
Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will possess:
4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
Prior experience in an educational setting
Experience with JAMF Pro
Experience working on interactive projectors and SMART Notebook
Apple Macintosh Repair Certification
Patience and good interpersonal skills
Facility and comfort working independently and collaboratively
Ability to be flexible with weekly schedule on occasion, which may include working evenings and/or weekends
