Digital Platform Manager/Graphic Designer

Digital Platform Manager and Graphic Designer
The Digital Platform Manager/Designer will oversee all digital marketing channels, social media, email marketing, and website management. The Digital Platform Manager must be a Jack or Jill of many trades, with an eye for visuals, an ability to create sophisticated designs and an ear for great copy. The Digital Platform Manager will be a natural storyteller, creative collaborator, and critical thinker.
The Digital Platform Manager reports to the Chief Communications Officer and works with all members of the Shaare Zedek team.

Accountabilities include:

• Coordinating and updating content and messages from Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem across digital channels: websites, email marketing, social media.
• Remaining vigilant and responsive to guest feedback across platforms.
• Design emails, flyers and other promotional items
• Updating website to ensure it accurately captures and represents the most up to date content and upcoming calendar of events, i.e. adding personal fundraising pages
• Strategizing and executing email marketing: growing and grooming distribution lists, best practices to increase click and open rates, lower bounce rates.
• Manage the online reputation of the organization
• Other accountabilities will be developed as needed as opportunities and situational changes arise.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Editorial skills: the ability to write clean, grammatically accurate, elevated, engaging copy
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and collaborate with others
• Advanced design, photo editing skills and sophisticated visual taste
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Up to date knowledge of the latest practices for web and social media
• Proficient across Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat.
• Comfortable in content management system Wordpress or Square Space and MyEmma, basic CSS and HTML
• Basic understanding of Hebrew a must.
