The primary responsibility of this position is creating content that tells the story of YULA Girls to a diverse audience on various social media platforms. Our school is not camera shy and we need someone that will capture, edit and present our best moments to the world everyday.
The ideal candidate will possess the skills and competency to handle photography, videography, photo retouching, video editing, and print collateral design, in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
This person works under the direction of the Director of Admissions and Marketing.
The Content Creator is also responsible for designing marketing and promotional materials to be distributed through a variety of channels: print, digital, web, email, social media, digital signage, video and others as needed.
The Content Creator updates and maintains our online and social media presence on a daily basis.
The Content Creator also teaches Photography and Videography classes.
Responsibilities of the Content Creator include:
Event Photography and Videography - Be present at and capture compelling photos & video of all school activities, athletic games and events.
Social Media - Select, tweak and post the best photographs and footage of events happening at YULA Girls to all of our Social Media channels on a daily basis.
Graphic Design - Design and update flyers, posters, banners, email graphics, website graphics, social media graphics, calendars, letterhead, digital-signage, advertisements and more as needed.
Video Campaigns - Arrange, shoot and edit marketing videos for the school.
Cataloging & Curation - Maintain an organized library and catalog of all school media and graphics.
The Paw Print - Design, curate and edit our comprehensive weekly email newsletter which includes: photos, videos, articles, flyers, and more.
Athletics - Capture footage from games and rallies, creating game flyers, Athlete of the Week posters, etc.
Emails - Manage our email lists, creative design of emails, and sending of emails as needed, including daily school updates, events, weekly newsletters, etc.
Teaching - Teach two classes daily on Photo/Video/Design topics. Manage the student Photo/Video club.
Website - Updating website content and photos as needed.
A/V Support - Setup of equipment (speakers, microphones, cameras, music) at events, and occasional IT Dept. assistance as needed.
