Israel Seminar Operations Coordinator


The American Israel Education Foundation ("AIEF") is the charitable organization affiliated with AIPAC, America's pro-Israel lobby, and was created in 1990. AIEF The Foundation funds educational seminars to Israel for members of Congress and other political influentials. These AIEF-sponsored trips help educate political leaders and influentials about the importance of the U.S. - Israel relationship through firsthand experiences in Israel, briefings by experts on Middle East affairs, and meetings with Israeli political elite.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain trips database to house AIEF historical data, track participant information and engagement, and produce metrics for accessing the efficacy of AIEF’s programs
• Aggregating and updating AIEF trip data to maintain a full account of AIEF history
• Facilitating the post-trip survey process for participants to continually improve AIEF programming
• Tracking alumni engagement, and recording information in the database (i.e. alumni programs, social media, individual engagement)
• Planning and implementing alumni programming for DC-based alumni
• Creating and implementing additional alumni programming
• Overseeing development and implementation of new technologies to assist in Israel Seminar alumni engagement (i.e. yearly survey)
• Creating social media avenues to engage alumni
• Assisting Israel Seminars Director with research and resource development
• Assisting in the planning and coordination of AIEF trips
• Other responsibilities as assigned


• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ work experience with increasing responsibility each year
• Passion for Israel, a strong U.S.-Israel relationship and the issues affecting the U.S.-Israel relationship
• Enthusiastic self-starter with a can-do attitude; can work independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding organizational skills with excellent attention to detail required. Possesses the ability to grasp both the big picture and small fine points of a project
• Previous experience participating in multiple projects in a high stakes environment with overlapping deadlines required
• Demonstrated success working with database content management system and cloud-based data management systems
• Fully competent in the Microsoft Office suite with the ability to learn additional computer applications as necessary
• Can quickly adapt to change, and problem solve to meet emerging challenges
• Ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining confidentiality and good working relationships with colleagues and trip alumni
• Perform calmly and efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced situations
