Hatikvah International Charter School is a public, secular K-8 program with an enrollment of 525 students whose studies include partial immersion in Modern Hebrew language. The school is currently seeking Modern Hebrew teachers for the 2019-2020 school year. Candidates need to have excellent oral and written communication skills as a native Hebrew speaker; a sound knowledge of how to use data to drive instruction; strong skills in differentiation; and inquiry based approaches to learning. The candidate must have experience in collaborative planning. The job requires a "Can-do" attitude.
The school is unable to sponsor Visas so candidates must have US Citizenship or a green card. Hatikvah is a public secular school with no religious studies. Candidates should avoid discussing any religious background in their cover letters. Public schools are not permitted to teach religious studies.
