Leadership Program Associate, TAMID Group

TAMID Group seeks a detail-oriented professional to act as the Leadership Program Associate on our Member Experience (MX) team, a highly collaborative team that values innovation, feedback, and continuous learning. 

Overview: The Leadership Program Associate plays a mission-critical role in developing student leaders across TAMID chapters at 60+ universities around the world. This position directly supports Chapter Presidents and strengthens the broader leadership experience within the organization by ensuring our students are well-equipped, well-informed, and deeply connected to TAMID’s values and Israel-focused mission.

TAMID facilitates experiential education and cultivates relationships to create a strong, lasting connection to Israel for emerging professionals. This takes place through a series of programs aimed at college students and graduates: 

  • A comprehensive education curriculum
  • Pro-bono consulting for Israeli startups
  • An Israel-focused investment portfolio
  • A summer internship program in Israel
  • Community, professional development, and Israel engagement for alumni 

Detailed Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Chapter Presidents – 60%

 

      • Serve as the primary point of contact for Chapter Presidents across all campuses.
      • Facilitate Group Advising sessions and 1:1 check-ins with Chapter Presidents.
      • Deliver clear, consistent weekly emails to keep leaders aligned and engaged.
      • Provide ongoing encouragement and troubleshoot challenges facing individual chapters.
      • Cultivate strong relationships that foster trust and growth in student leadership.
      • Work collaboratively with the Member Experience team to ensure Chapter Presidents and chapters are consistently informed of all upcoming deadlines, programs, and opportunities, helping them stay aligned with TAMID’s goals.
      • Regularly review, update, and enhance TAMID’s resource library to ensure chapter leaders have access to the most current and effective tools, guides, and best practices.

 

  • Global Leadership Board – 15%

 

      • Support TAMID’s student Global Leadership Board, working specifically with the Global Directors of Leadership
      • Help coordinate new initiatives in collaboration with the Global Leadership Board and full MX team.

 

  • Summer Israel Fellowship – 15%

 

      • Assist in the recruitment of top-tier students to participate in 8-week summer Fellowship in Tel Aviv, ensuring a robust candidate pool that is representative of all TAMID Chapters
      • Coordinate aspects of the end of summer retreat and pre/post-Fellowship engagement on-campus.

 

  • General support/others – 10%

 

    • Provide general support for campus marketing as-needed.
    • Provide logistical and operational support for major events such as TAMIDCon, Return Retreat, NYC Summit, and other leadership initiatives, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with TAMID’s mission.
    • Take on ad hoc projects to improve the student experience or streamline processes.
    • Travel for campus visits 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Passion for the work and mission of TAMID Group 
  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 1+ years of experience in program management 
  • Demonstrated success planning and initiating new projects
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
  • Experience working directly with highly-motivated undergraduate students and young professionals (preferred)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

This is a fully remote position in the U.S with a strong preference for candidates located on the east coast. We frequently connect with team members in Israel via zoom, Slack, and monday.com. We largely maintain east coast business hours, with flexibility as needed. This position requires occasional evening/weekend hours and occasional domestic or international travel.  

Salary for this role is $50,000.

Hiring Process and Timeline:

  • Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with preference given to those submitted by April 18, 2025
  • We anticipate that the interview process will include four conversations with TAMID staff and students and will be wrapped up by mid/late-May, 
  • Anticipated start time will be in late-June/early July.
