Religious School Teacher

We are seeking a Part Time Religious School teacher for our 6th grade class on Sunday mornings from 9:00-11:30a.m. and Wednesday afternoon from 4:30-6:45p.m. and a Part Time Facilitator/Teacher for our 8th/9th grade Tichon class on Wednesday evenings 6:30-8:30pm.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Some background in Jewish education
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Passion for Judaism and fostering Jewish identity
• 6th grade: Knowledge of Jewish ritual and ritual objects
• 6th grade: Understanding of and ability to teach Hebrew and Conservative Judaism Prayer
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude, creative, responsible and energetic
• Able to build and maintain strong communication skills with students and parents throughout the school year
• All required Pennsylvania clearances must be up-to-date.

 Hourly compensation, based on experience.
