The Jewish Grad Organization (JGO) is a non-profit organization that supports Jewish graduate students on 156 grad campuses across North America, as well as our alumni, in their professional and personal growth by creating an environment where they can connect, grow, and give back to the Jewish community.  Our mission is to empower Jewish graduate students as they navigate their careers and personal lives, fostering a sense of belonging and enriching their Jewish identity along the way.

The Opportunity: We’re on the hunt for a Part-Time Talent Acquisition Partner to help us find talented, mission-driven individuals to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who values work-life balance and wants to contribute to a growing organization with a meaningful mission. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to identify and attract top talent for JGO.

• Source candidates through various platforms, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking.

• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' fit with JGO’s mission and culture.

• Coordinate and manage the interview process with hiring managers.

• Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future roles.

• Partner with leadership to understand hiring needs and organizational goals.

• Provide a seamless and positive experience for all candidates throughout the hiring process.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Passion for JGO’s mission and a desire to contribute to a meaningful cause.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with non-profit organizations is a plus, but not required.

Compensation: This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

• Must embrace the mission of JGO.

• 2-4 years of experience in recruiting

• Possess the skills to work with potential talent

• Strong interpersonal skills.

• Be a self-starter, extremely motivated, and goal-driven to initiate relationships

• Comfort working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

• Display a positive attitude and passion for the organization, demonstrate self-confidence, common sense, and be a good listener.
