The Unit Leader provides direct support and supervision to the general counselor staff and campers. They are available to assist and aid their staff
in all ways and ensure that the counselors have all the tools needed to perform their jobs. The primary responsibility of a UL is to be
a general resource for campers, staff members, and parents on organization, personnel, programming, and camper-related matters.
Unit Leaders are supervisors, facilitators, evaluators, and communicators.
Experience- Previous experience in early childhood education, childcare, or tutoring is preferred- Certification in first aid/CPR is a plus, but not required- Experience working with children in various settings such as classrooms, sports coaching, or special education is beneficial- Ability to educate and engage children in a camp setting
