Katz Yeshiva High School of South Florida (KYHS) is a co-ed, Modern-Orthodox high school with close to 500 students, housed in a beautiful facility at the heart of the rapidly growing Jewish community of Boca Raton, FL. KYHS is well-known for its diverse range of students, its rigorous academic program, and its warm and embracing environment. Due to increased enrollment and an expanding program we are seeking passionate and knowledgeable Limudei Kodesh teachers to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year.  

As a Judaic Studies Teacher at KYHS, you will have the opportunity to inspire students to engage deeply with Judaic texts, traditions, and values while fostering critical thinking and a love for learning. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about creating an engaging and meaningful learning environment and in shaping the spiritual and intellectual development of their students.  

Positions are available to teach classes to students in grades 9-12 in a variety of subjects including Chumash, Gemara, Halacha, Machshava, and Navi. Candidates must be models of exemplary Torah observance and values who have a comprehensive knowledge of Torah content and a desire to engage and connect with students. In addition, candidates should be committed to their own learning and growth, should be comfortable in a professional academic environment, and should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Teach five classes that each meet four times per week, for a total of 20 weekly periods.
  • Create and implement lessons and assessments consistent with course content and objectives.
  • Establish a connection with students, providing mentorship and guidance in their spiritual and academic journeys.
  • Collaborate with other Judaic Studies teachers to enhance the overall curriculum and student experience.
  • Provide thoughtful and timely feedback on student work and update online gradebook (RenWeb) and Google Classroom on a regular basis.
  • Attend scheduled department, faculty, and professional development meetings and participate in school events during and after school hours such as Shabbatonim, Chagigot and Guest Speakers.
  • Supervise davening during Shacharit and Mincha.

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Judaic Studies or a related field and men should have Semicha. Compensation and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
