Hillel 818, winner of Hillel International’s 2024 “Great Place to Work” award, serves the 6,000+ undergraduate Jewish students at California State University Northridge, Pierce College, and LA Valley College, making us one of the biggest Hillels in the country and one of Los Angeles’ most important Jewish institutions. Hillel 818 seeks a passionate, personable, responsible, resourceful, self-starting, storytelling, strategic, communications savvy, and detail-oriented Advancement Director to plan and implement a multi-pronged fundraising strategy for one of LA’s premier Jewish institutions in service of one of the biggest Jewish student populations in the country. The primary responsibility of the Advancement Director will be to connect the greater LA Jewish community to our story and mission so that we raise the money to both change the Jewish world and, of course, keep our lights on! You will oversee our annual fundraising campaign, implement our grassroots fundraising channels, work closely with our Board of Directors, and plan and execute special events as needed.
The position begins in July 2025.
