Weekday Religious School Teaching Opportunities

Temple Israel in New Rochelle has TWO positions available on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. We are looking for a 1st grade teacher on Tuesdays, as well as a Hebrew teacher on Thursday. Basic Hebrew reading skills are needed for 1^st-6^th grade.

We are a dynamic program that looks to engage children through camp-style and interactive programming. You would have the opportunity to help shape the curriculum and bring your personality and vision into the experience. Offering positions starting at $5,200 (1 day) up to $9,750 (2 days).

Temple Israel’s programming year runs September 3^rd through May 15th. You will be supported with teenage teacher assistants (Madreecheem). Teaching staff will be able to develop their skills as an educator through regular professional development opportunities with our Director of Education as well as outside speakers and resources.
