Position Overview

We seek a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This role involves co-teaching in a warm, child-centered environment while incorporating Jewish values, traditions, and celebrations into daily learning. Teachers build strong partnerships with families and foster children's holistic development—physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and lead engaging, hands-on learning experiences with a Jewish lens.
  • Foster independence, creativity, and problem-solving in young learners.
  • Provide warm, responsive care tailored to individual needs.
  • Incorporate Jewish traditions, holidays, and values into the classroom experience.
  • Maintain strong, open communication with parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate professionally with co-workers and engage in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

  • Degree or certification in early childhood education or related field (experience may substitute for a degree in some cases).
  • Strong understanding of child development and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Texas Minimum Standards and NAEYC Accreditation Criteria.
  • Passion for Jewish education and early childhood learning.
  • Experience incorporating Jewish customs, holidays, and values into teaching.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic classroom environment.
