The Cohen Camps (www.cohencamps.org) is looking to fill seasonal Senior Staff positions to complete our summer teams at Camp Pembroke (www.camppembroke.org, all-girls, located in Pembroke, MA), CAMP Tel Noar (www.camptelnoar.org, coed, located in Hampstead, NH), and CAMP Tevya (www.camptevya.org, coed, located in Brookline, NH).  

Below are the seasonal openings across the Cohen Camps:

  • Program Director: Facilitate the planning and implementation of all camp activities
  • Head Counselors:  Supervise and support a group of 40-50 campers and 16 counselors
  • Department Heads for Waterfront, Nature, Performing Arts, Media/Photography: Specialists that teach activities and supervise staff
  • Nurses: Provide exceptional care and support for campers and staff in our health centers

Job Details Include:

  • Camp contracts for all positions is June 16th to August 15th
  • Salaries start at $4,000, but are based on position and commensurate with experience
  • Tuition compensation available for employees with campers
  • 6 scheduled days off over an 8-week contract
  • Live-on-site preferred, but commuting considered for certain positions
  • Housing with WiFi available

Key Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience or relevant experience working with kids and teens
  • Bachelor's degree, or relevant medical degrees/licenses for nurses
  • Passion for working with children
  • Strong communication skills, flexibility, and work-ethic
  • Ability to accept guidance, constructive feedback, and support from teammates
  • Previous residential camp experience is a plus
