Musical Director at Jewish summer day camp in Long Island

Envision Theater is an educational theater company that brings performing arts programs to schools, camps, and community centers.
We are hiring a Musical Director at a day camp located in Cedarhurst, (Long Island) NY. The Musical Director will be responsible for coordinating and teaching the music for the camp show. Including prepping the auditions and rehearsals. They will work closely with the director, the assistant director, the cast, and the production team to ensure campers have an incredible musical theater experience.

The program dates are: The dates are: 6/27-8/8 in the mornings. The show is on 8/8 in the evening. The program only meets Mon, Tues, Wed and Thur.

Qualifications
Degree in music education, music performance, musical theater, or related degree
At least two years of experience in musical directing children
Strong musical background and knowledge
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to adapt and make creative decisions
The compensation is $2000
