Bookkeeping & Data Entry Associate

We are a non-profit organization seeking a Bookkeeping & Data Entry Associate who will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various tasks in connection with accounting and finance.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks and Raiser’s Edge.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the organization's financial records.
• Accurately type and input financial data into our system.
• Prepare accurate reports and financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss, and cash flow statements.
• Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure account accuracy.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Enter pledges and maintain an accurate record of donations.
• Collaborate with other team members to gather financial data.
• Work in cooperation with the organization’s accountant.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings.
• Provide essential accounting and clerical support to the accounting department.
  
  Qualifications:

• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with accounting principles and concepts.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Raiser’s Edge.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and other databases and accounting software.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with others.
• Ability to handle billing and invoicing.
• Exceptional customer service orientation.
