Coordinator, Special Projects


The Conference of Presidents advocates on behalf of the Jewish community around the world and is a key point of contact for communal, national, and world leaders.

The Coordinator of Special Projects will provide valuable support to our policy and programming teams.

This position is ideal for someone with strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills who enjoys conducting research, writing, and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for candidates with an interest in US-Israel relations and Jewish communal concerns, who are eager to learn and grow professionally. This role offers opportunities to engage with Jewish communal leaders and gain hands-on experience in event coordination, policy research, and communications.

This position reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

Primary Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in conducting research on topics relevant to the Conference of Presidents, including current events and ongoing projects.
  • Monitor news sites and social media for updates relevant to the organization.
  • Help draft and edit communications such as social media posts, email blasts, speeches, press statements, and announcements.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings and events, both in-person and online.
  • Assist in managing office supplies, calendar scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the webmaster to update the organization’s website.
  • Support internal committees by scheduling meetings and maintaining communication with members.
  • Contribute to initiatives that address antisemitism and promote US-Israel relations.
  • Help coordinate external speakers and provide assistance during events, including virtual and in-person programming.
  • Prepare briefing materials and assist with international meetings.
  • Provide administrative support for internal teams and projects.

Qualifications and Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 2-5 years’ experience in Jewish community relations, community organizing, politics, advocacy (internships or campus leadership roles are applicable).
  • Interest in current events related to Israel, the Middle East, and the Jewish community.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills in a mission-driven organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Basic understanding of website management and/or social media is a plus.

Benefits: Paid vacation and sick leave, medical, dental, vision and retirement plans, early closing for Shabbat and Jewish holidays.

Salary range: $65,000-$85,000
