Position Overview
Are you passionate about data, curious about what makes digital audiences tick, and eager to use insights to drive meaningful impact? Jewish National Fund-USA is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and insights-driven Audience Development Analyst to support our growing Communications and Marketing team.
This role is perfect for someone early in their career who loves charts and dashboards as much as they love Israel—and who wants to help shape smarter, more effective strategies for one of the most dynamic nonprofits in the Jewish world.
Reporting to the Director of Communications and working in partnership with our Social Media Associate to ensure messaging is data-informed, you'll dig into performance data from our social media channels, marketing campaigns, and PR initiatives to uncover trends, identify opportunities, and tell us what's really working. You won't be creating all the content—but you'll be the reason our content performs better every single day.

Key Responsibilities
Data & Performance Analysis
- Execute campaigns and track and analyze the performance of social media content, marketing campaigns, and PR efforts across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
- Identify patterns, highlight what's resonating, and flag underperforming areas to inform future content strategies.
- Create clear, visually compelling monthly and ad-hoc performance reports for the Communications team and organizational leadership.
Strategic Insights
- Translate raw data into actionable insights—helping guide what we post, when we post, and who we target.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and strategists to shape data-backed recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness.
- Monitor trends in audience behavior and suggest new approaches for reaching different segments, from Gen Z to legacy donors.
Campaign Evaluation & Reporting
- Track KPIs for cross-channel campaigns (organic and paid) including reach, impressions, engagement rates, CTR, and conversions.
- Evaluate and compare campaign performance over time and across different audiences.
- Work closely with PR and marketing leads to assess the impact of media placements, email blasts, and influencer collaborations.
Tools & Optimization
- Use platforms like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Muck Rack, or similar tools to gather and interpret data.
- Set up dashboards and tracking tools to make regular reporting easier and more efficient.
- Stay up to date on the latest in social media algorithms, audience targeting, and nonprofit digital engagement.
- Utilize Salesforce data where relevant
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or related field—or equivalent experience.
- 1–4 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, or audience development (internships or volunteer work count!).
- Comfortable using or learning analytics platforms (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics, Sprout, Hootsuite, Meltwater, etc.).
- Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets; experience with data visualization tools (like Looker Studio or Tableau) a plus.
- Intellectually curious with an analytical mindset for problem-solving and storytelling through data.
- Strong communication skills—you can translate numbers into plain English.
- Passion for Israel, Zionism, and the mission of Jewish National Fund-USA.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience measuring the performance of social media and PR efforts.
- Know your way around UTM parameters, dashboards, or segmentation tools.
- Are familiar with Jewish National Fund-USA's mission and values.
