Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking a full-time teacher for 2025-2026 to join the high school’s Limudei Qodesh department. The high school Limudei Qodesh department teaches Tanakh, Talmud and other genres of Rabbinic literature, and Jewish Philosophy. Members of the Limudei Qodesh department also facilitate a daily Shacharit minyan.

Applicants should have a passion for teaching texts and a proven track record of outstanding differentiated instruction to students of different abilities and learning styles. A Bachelor’s degree is required; professional training in education and/or a graduate degree preferred.
Candidates must be proficient in both biblical and rabbinic texts, and have a love of teaching and learning these texts in their original languages. Applicants are expected to be passionate about fostering connections between a diverse student body and our sacred texts. Candidates should enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curricula and must be passionate about their personal and professional growth.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $65,000 - $110,000, depending on years of experience.
