Essential Job Functions:
- Plan and manage the strategic direction, budget, and programming for Partnership2Gether, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering collaboration with stakeholders in Pittsburgh, Israel, and Poland.
- Oversee the Israel Scholarship program by promoting opportunities, managing applications, and supporting local institutions and families.
- Organize and manage itineraries for visiting delegations and community-wide events such as Yom Ha’atzmaut.
- Work with committees, lay leadership, and partner organizations to establish funding priorities and develop programs.
- Collaborate with local organizations to implement Israel engagement programs and contribute to cross-functional teams for community collaboration.
- Provide administrative oversight for department functions, including budgets, allocations, and supporting the administrative professional.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Jewish Studies, Communications, or Marketing; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in Israel engagement or a related field, with a proven ability to develop and implement initiatives.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and a deep understanding of the Jewish community and Israel’s history, culture, and trends.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including those from international backgrounds or non-native English speakers.
- Knowledge of Israeli travel programs for teens and young adults; proficiency in Hebrew is a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally (approximately two trips per year) and work evenings or weekends as needed.
COMPENSATION
This position has a competitive hiring range of $45,281 to $64,687 a year, commensurate with experience.
