7th Grade Religious School Teacher

If you are passionate, thoughtful, and enthusiastic about Jewish life and traditions, if you are open to integrating tech and project-based learning into your classroom... We want you for our 7th grade religious school class, starting in January!

Our curriculum includes both a solid grounding in Jewish text and a values-based strand where we apply lessons from Jewish tradition to our lives. Materials as well as training in specific topics will be provided for the right personality.

Congregation Beth Judea is a welcoming, mid-size, egalitarian Conservative synagogue in Long Grove, IL (Northwest Suburbs of Chicago). The Religious School strives to create a warm and supportive Jewish home where our students’ love of learning can flourish.

Teaching is in person on:

Sundays, 9:00am - Noon, & Tuesdays 4:15pm - 6:15pm

Starting rates:
$25-$40/hour HS graduate, without a BA
$50-$60/hour with a BA and relevant experience.
