Organizational Overview
Camp Yavneh, situated on 65 beautiful acres of woodlands and waterfront in southern New Hampshire, is an 80-year-old Jewish summer camp where generations of campers have created lifelong friendships, engaged in top-notch activities, and deepened their Jewish engagement. Our Klal Yisrael (pluralistic) approach encourages Jewish children ages 8-16 from all backgrounds and experiences to come together in a joy-filled, co-ed, overnight camp environment where all aspects of life reflect Jewish values.  Each summer we serve more than 500 campers in grades 3-11, and work with an infrastructure of 150 seasonal staff members.

Position Summary
Camp Yavneh is seeking an energetic, creative, and passionate leader to serve as our camp’s full-time, year-round Director of Programming (DP).  As a member of the Hanhallah (Senior Leadership Team), the DP will play a key role in delivering positive and meaningful program experiences for our chanichim (campers) and tzevet (staff).  Primarily, the DP is the lead professional focused on planning for, and execution of, successful day-to-day programming and activities in camp.  The DP will also play an integral role in camp culture building, staff development, and problem solving daily occurrences.

From September through May, the DP will spend the majority of their time planning for the summer.  Additionally, the DP will work closely with the Hanhallah on areas including year-round camper recruitment and engagement, and the DP will support organizational efforts in communications, logistical planning, staff recruitment and hiring, facility management, and vendor purchasing.

During the summer, the DP lives on-site in Northwood, NH and supervises the camp’s day-to-day schedule and the related program areas.  The DP will be a part of the summer leadership team (Hanhallah) and will work in close partnership with counselors and program specialists (including direct supervision of Program Area Department Heads).

**PLEASE NOTE: This is a remote position from September to May with required summer residence at Camp Yavneh in Northwood, NH from mid-June through the end of August.**
