Oregon Hillel seeks a full-time Wellness Director to begin in Summer 2025 to support the well-being and mental health of Jewish students at the University of Oregon (UO) and Oregon State University (OSU). This newly created position will develop and implement wellness-focused initiatives that promote the holistic health—spiritual, physical, intellectual, social, and emotional—of Jewish students. Oregon Hillel serves as the vibrant center for Jewish student life at UO and OSU, providing meaningful opportunities for Jewish connection, leadership development, and personal growth.
The Wellness Director will report to Oregon Hillel’s Executive Director and will be fully integrated into the Oregon Hillel staff team, collaborating on student engagement and programming to prioritize mental health and well-being. They will lead workshops on topics such as stress management and resilience, and develop wellness initiatives tailored to Jewish students’ unique needs. This role will complement existing Hillel programming by infusing mental health resources into all of Oregon Hillel’s programs and events, such as Shabbat and holiday observances, and leadership training. Additionally, they will serve as a resource for staff, equipping them to better support students. By working closely with students and staff, the Wellness Director will help create a culture of wellness within the Oregon Hillel community.
