Position
Shalom Hartman Institute of North America (SHI NA) has an exciting opportunity for a motivated, organized, dynamic, thoughtful, and detail-oriented individual to work with our Wellspring team to ensure programmatic excellence. SHI NA’s Wellspring initiative is a growing suite of educational interventions for young Jews between the ages of 15–25, and for the professionals, educators, and institutions that serve them on college campuses and at day schools, summer camps, congregational schools, and youth groups. This person will primarily support our work with Jewish educators and professionals serving youth and young adults such as Hillel professionals, day school and congregational school educators. Based in our New York four days per week, this position requires someone who is exceptionally strong in taking initiative, following-through with tasks, is organized and reliable, and a quick learner. The ideal candidate for this position will also have an understanding of and commitment to SHI’s mission, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks efficiently and excellently. This position reports to our Director of Professional Leadership Initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties

Manage logistics for in-person conferences, retreats, and other events. This includes communicating with participants, managing participant, faculty, and staff travel, tracking attendance and registration, preparing program materials, securing/arranging and liaising with caterers and event spaces, setting up/cleaning up for events, and creating evaluations;

Managing logistics for virtual programs, including zoom set up and production, materials, supporting faculty, and recordings;

Manage phone calls, emails, and requests in a professional, timely, and courteous manner;
Qualifications
Salary and Benefits: Salary range $55,000 - $65,000, commensurate with experience. Competitive benefits package.
