The Park School of Buffalo is seeking a dynamic Judaics teacher that is innovative, collaborative, and committed to providing high-quality instruction to Prek-12th grade students. 

Duties and Responsibilities:
? Design, implement, and differentiate engaging lessons to meet the broad needs of diverse learners.
? Assess student performance and prepare reports pertaining to student progress and instruction.
? Maintain high-expectations for student learning and engagement.
? Prepare engaging lesson plans that are immersive and engaging.
? Promote a positive school environment that enhances student learning with strong pedagogy and classroom-management skills.
? Maintain a positive and collaborative climate across departments and grade levels.
? Build strong relationships with all stakeholders in the Park and Kadimah communities.
? Proactively participate in school community programs and events.
? Collaborate with outside Jewish organizations such as local synagogues, Jewish agencies and the Buffalo Jewish Federation to maximize the reach of the program within the wider Western New York community.
? Perform other duties as assigned
 

Skills:
? Maintain a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Hebrew, Jewish Education, Jewish Thought or general education from an accredited university or seminary, or with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in a Jewish educational setting.
? Demonstrates professionalism in all job-related situations including interactions with students, parents, colleagues and community members.
? Seeks to improve through self-reflection, constructive feedback and/or professional development activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Education & Other Requirements:
? Education: Bachelor's in Jewish Education or Jewish Thought
? Strong instructional and classroom management skills
? High level of personal organization and planning
? Substantial coursework in diversity, equity, and inclusion pedagogy
? Team player: maturity, humility, strong work ethic, follow-through, sense of humor, willingness to respond positively to feedback and a "roll-up-my-sleeves" attitude
? Mastery of and enthusiasm for subject matter

Physical Requirements
? Able to walk throughout 34 acre campus
? Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
