Reporting to the Data and Evaluation Manager, the Ark welcomes the right candidate to help lead our data driven culture and use of our suite of data management software. Interested? Please read on:

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of The Ark’s data collection systems and provide staff the requested data they need to support their work.
  • Grasp the data system structure to train and guide staff on creating reports.
  • Accountable for a QA process, keeping data clean and usable.
  • Ensure data integrity meets The Ark standards.
  • Proficiency of Salesforce systems, tools and products ensuring The Ark has proactive plans to maintain industry standard operating functions tailored to The Ark’s customized needs.
  • Daily point of contact with external consultant for our Salesforce needs and support for third party Salesforce integrations.
  • Use analytic approaches to see patterns, test service delivery hypotheses, predict future demand, understand changes in potential client needs and the impact of The Ark’s work on Jewish household stability in greater Chicago area (under guidance of Manager of Data and Evaluation).

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookup, array formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience with CRM on back end (Salesforce knowledge preferred)
  • Effective communicator able to work with diverse team members having varying degrees of technology comfort
  • Proficient in being able to triage and prioritize projects independently in fast paced environment
  • Engage in ongoing educational/collaborative activities for CQI; share knowledge /information with relevant team members
  • Exceptional aptitude for detail, organization, and prioritization, and meeting high pressured deadlines with accuracy
