Advanced Planning Advisor

Our primary focus is delivering impeccable and consistent services to families paying tribute to their loved ones. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a full-time Jewish Preneed Cemetery Salesperson. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting individuals and families in making prearrangements for cemetery spaces, tablets, trusts, and related services within the Jewish community. Your empathy, understanding of Jewish traditions, and excellent communication skills will be crucial in providing support to clients during a sensitive and significant time.

Responsibilities:

1. **Consultation and Guidance:** Meet with clients to discuss their preneed cemetery arrangements, understanding their specific preferences and requirements while adhering to Jewish traditions and customs.

2. **Product Knowledge:** Have a thorough understanding of available cemetery spaces, services, and amenities, and effectively communicate these options to clients. Provide detailed information on pricing, payment plans, and any associated policies.

3. **Cultural Sensitivity:** Demonstrate a deep understanding and respect for Jewish customs and traditions, ensuring that all arrangements align with the cultural and religious preferences of the client.

4. **Documentation:** Assist clients in completing necessary paperwork for preneed cemetery arrangements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. 

5. **Relationship Building:** Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with local Jewish communities, synagogues, and relevant organizations to enhance the visibility and reputation of our cemetery services.

6. **Collaboration:** Work closely with internal teams, including administration and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of preneed cemetery services.

7. **Customer Support:** Provide ongoing support and communication to clients, addressing any concerns or inquiries they may have throughout the preneed cemetery planning process.

Qualifications:

1. **Cultural Competence:** A deep understanding and appreciation of Jewish customs and traditions.
2. **Sales Experience:** Proven experience in sales, particularly in the funeral or cemetery industry, is advantageous.
3. **Empathy:** Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate sensitive conversations with compassion.
4. **Detail-Oriented:** Strong attention to detail in paperwork and documentation.
5. **Ethical Conduct:** Uphold the highest ethical standards, ensuring transparency and honesty in all interactions.
6. **Team Player:** Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
