The Human Resources Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Director of Human Resources in various HR activities essential for the smooth operation of the department. This position involves a range of responsibilities that contribute to recruitment, selection, hiring, onboarding, and overall employee relations within the organization. The HR Assistant will be involved in ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures and maintaining documentation related to employee qualifications and performance management. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes 
  • Support HR programs and events 
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date HR records 
  • Assist with recruiting activities
  • Jump in on other HR projects and administrative tasks as needed!
  • The HR Assistant will also be responsible for tracking employees with expiring documentation, such as licenses and certifications, and will input renewal documents into the WellSky system as required
  • Daily assistance will be provided to caregivers regarding various applications and employee needs, including 403B inquiries and training app support
  • The HR Assistant will also assist with weekly caregiver orientations and ensure that all employees have proper identification badges
  • Compliance with organizational policies and participation in HR projects, audits, and site visits will also be part of their responsibilities
  • The role also includes resolving employee inquiries regarding eligibility, salaries, benefits, and other HR-related issues.
  • Compliance with I-9 and EVerify

Qualifications:

  • Five + years of experience in a Human Resources role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Knowledgeable of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Salary45,000.00 - 55,000.00 Annual
