Job Summary:
Temple Emanuel seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic professional to join our Engagement Team. This role includes opportunities to plan community-wide holiday celebrations, build personal and meaningful relationships with members, and coordinate educational programming. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, communicative, personable, and passionate about community building and education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute community-wide holiday celebrations and community events.
- Coordinate marketing and communication efforts to promote events and conduct outreach to maximize participation.
- Manage decorations and space setup to create welcoming event environments and collaborate with colleagues and clergy on programming.
- Track attendance and conduct appropriate follow-up including solicitation of feedback to maximize impact of programming.
- Plan and oversee the annual adult learning calendar and publicize it in conjunction with the marketing team.
- Serve as staff liaison for the Adult Education Committee, attend meetings, shape agendas, facilitate conversations, and identify community teachers.
- Arrange guest speakers and appropriate programmatic content.
- Develop a comprehensive map of volunteer opportunities, connect members with these opportunities, and track and report on engagement and volunteer hours.
- Integrate the senior programming professional into the engagement team and assist in managing data tracking and follow-through to ensure program effectiveness.
