Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Jewish Values Through Sports Instructor to lead a 10-week program that combines physical activity with Jewish education. The ideal candidate will inspire students to explore Jewish values through various sports while fostering a sense of community, respect, and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and facilitate weekly lessons that integrate Jewish values with sports activities.
• Lead discussions on values such as respect, teamwork, perseverance, and leadership, connecting them to real-life and sports scenarios.
• Organize and oversee sports activities, ensuring safety and equal participation.
• Encourage student reflection through group discussions and journaling.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment that promotes ethical behavior and teamwork.
• Monitor and assess student engagement, behavior, and understanding of Jewish values.

Qualifications:

• Background in Jewish education, youth leadership, or sports instruction.
• Knowledge of Jewish values and traditions, with the ability to relate them to modern experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.
• Experience working with children in sports or educational settings.
• Ability to create a safe, fun, and respectful learning environment.

Schedule:
Part-time, 10-week program with 2-45min session per week.

Temple Beth Am, 1039 S La Cienega Blvd

Compensation:
Begins at $40/hr
