Temple Sholom, an egalitarian conservative synagogue in Bridgewater, #NJ, is looking for a creative, engaging and #experiential Kitah Hey Teacher to join our team.
Our program meets on Wednesday afternoons, 4:30pm-6:30pm and Sunday mornings, from 9:30am-12:00pm in person. #PartTime

We are looking for individuals that can connect and relate to our learners. Develop a warm and welcoming community for all learners to build strong friendships with one another. Bring Judaism alive by making it relevant and meaningful to them through experiential learning.
We offer supportive supervision, a great working environment and opportunities for professional development. The rate for this position is $6,500-$6,835 annually.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's Degree or currently studying for Bachelor's Degree
-Experience working with children, preferably in a teaching, childcare or camp setting
-Strong communication skills to effectively interact with learners, parents and Director of Education
-Knowledge and love for Judaism and Hebrew prayer
-Proven experience in classroom management and lesson planning is a plus
