Sunday School Only Hebrew Teacher

Temple Beth David, a Reform congregation in Canton, Ma., is currently looking for a creative, innovative and dynamic teacher who would like to join us and be part of our Shorashim Religious School educational team.  Job responsibilities include the teaching of prayer book Hebrew along with Jewish values, holidays and Israel.  You will be responsible, along with another teacher, in working with the upper elementary school grades (grades 3-7) on Sunday mornings from 9:00- 12:00 in small grade-based groupings.  We have integrated Project Based Learning into our curriculum and are looking for a teacher who enjoys experiential learning; our students look forward to coming and enjoy each other as well as the learning. Experience supporting students with diverse learning styles and special learning needs is a plus as is the ability to play a musical instrument and/or sing.  We are a warm and inclusive community that is welcoming to all and who views our teachers as part of our community.
