Hillel International is looking for a passionate and creative professional to serve as the Senior Advisor for SUNY campuses, focusing on Purchase as a primary campus, along with Stony Brook, FIT, and others, as necessary. The ideal candidate will deeply understand today’s campus climate and have a passion for engaging students, faculty, administrators, and local stakeholders in shaping and advancing advocacy. They will leverage their relationship-building expertise to work across campus and the local Jewish community to ensure that students and faculty feel supported, connected to resources, and able to navigate today’s complex campus environment. While this position is remote, it will require regular travel to the supported campuses. Preference will be given to candidates based in or willing to relocate to Westchester or New York City.
This role will also focus on antisemitism responses and prevention on campus and work alongside a cohort of other Campus Impact professionals doing this important work on campuses across North America. Working closely with local Hillel directors, campus staff, students, community stakeholders, and university partners, you will build and sustain long-term relationships and political and media strategies to shift the climate on campus.
The Senior Advisor will receive training, support, and guidance from Hillel International and UJA Federation of NY.
