  • Organize and oversee Sunday morning logistics and jump in where needed.

Youth & Teen Engagement

  • Support and oversee the Madrichim program, including leading meetings once per month and monitoring participation.
  • Plan, communicate and attend Columbus Youth Group (CYG) events.
  • Coordinate and manage teen youth trips and activities.

Event & Volunteer Coordination

  • Organize and communicate with volunteers for Bistro (snack) support.
  • Assist with communication for special programming, such as holidays and monthly Tot Shabbat.
  • Order and coordinate lunches for Religious School meetings and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and sensitivity to students' and families’ individual needs, such as allergies and learning styles.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
  • Familiarity with communication tools (email, texting apps, Canva, etc.).
  • Comfortable with technology (Excel, CRM software) and troubleshooting basic tech issues.
  • Passion for working with Jewish families, youth, and religious school initiatives.
  • Being personable and able to handle challenging situations is required.
  • Experience in youth programming, education, or community engagement is preferred.
  • Some knowledge of Judaism and Jewish traditions would be helpful.

Schedule & Work Environment:

  • On-site: Sundays from 8AM - 1PM for religious school and events, as well as in-person school events when necessary at varied dates and times of day.
  • Remote: Most administrative work can be completed remotely.
  • Check-ins: 1 hour Zoom meetings two times per week with Rabbi Educator.
  • Flexible Hours: Regular check-ins through the week with various staff, flexible remote work for projects and tasks, and some events where times vary.
