High School STEM & Design Teacher (FT)

Katz Yeshiva High School, a private Jewish high school in Boca Raton, Florida, offers a rigorous dual curriculum in Judaic and General Studies to approximately 500 students. Our faculty comprises educators with diverse backgrounds but a shared passion for inspiring students and instilling within them a lifelong love of learning. We welcome devoted teachers who demonstrate leadership skills, display professional growth, and desire to work collaboratively with others. 

We are currently recruiting for the following position for the 2025–2026 school year:

Duties & Responsibilities

• Teach engaging and hands-on classes for up to 18 forty-five minute periods a week. 
• Robotics Team Coach - after school 2x a week.
• Create and implement lesson plans and a wide range of formative and summative assessments consistent with course content and objectives.
• Provide thoughtful, substantive, individualized feedback on student work.
• Update Google Classroom and online gradebook regularly.
• Monitor the Makerspace during predetermined scheduled times to meet with students and assist in maintaining the organization of the space.
• Attend scheduled department, faculty, and professional development meetings. 
• Complete up to three weekly staff duties, such as monitoring halls or proctoring makeup tests.
