Business Development Leader  

 

The Board of Jewish Education is committed to empowering educators by equipping them with the tools and resources to enhance their teaching practice. We are actively seeking a dynamic individual to reach out to our network of over 1,400 congregations and enroll them in our transformative program.

We seek a motivated and results-driven Business Development Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Jewish community, including educators, executive directors, clergy, and lay leaders, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales acumen, project management skills, and a passion for business development.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Identify and pursue prospective schools through market research and networking. This needs a take-charge individual who can establish strong relationships
  • Develop, maintain, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders; understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions
  • Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) software to track leads, manage accounts, and analyze data.
  • Collaborate closely with the Director to align business development strategies with the overall goals.
  • Craft a compelling narrative that resonates with our audience and showcases our services effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development and sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on building relationships.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment. 
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Salary: $60,000 plus commission
