Per Diem Field Nurse - Flexible Hours - North, Central, and West Broward

The Per Diem Field Nurse provides Nursing Supervision to clients and caregivers on an intermittent basis at the client’s place of residence. This is performed in accordance with a plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Supervisory Registered Nurse. This position is a part-time per diem position with flexible hours. 

 Job Responsibilities:

 Provides services following the plan of care and in coordination with the Nurse Supervisor.

• Makes the initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluates the client’s needs.
• Initiates the plan of care and necessary revisions based on the nursing process.
• Clinical Notes are returned to the office within 3 days of assignment by the Nursing Supervisor. (Weekends within 4 days)
• Informs the Nursing Supervisor of changes in the condition and needs of the client or family.
• Reviews the Plan of Care with the client and family members.
• Completes certification/recertification orders and discharge summaries in a timely manner as assigned by the Nursing Supervisor. (Uses Discharge Form for all client discharges)
• Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and
• Supervises and evaluates CNA/HHA/Home Maker.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

 Education:

Graduate from an accredited nursing school and hold a current nursing license in the state of Florida.

Experience:

Two years of prior nursing experience are required.
