Overview:

We are a distinguished non-profit organization with decades of service,
dedicated to helping Holocaust survivors in need. Our focus is to provide direct
financial assistance to survivors living below the poverty line in the United States
through a variety of emergency assistance and ongoing assistance programs. These
programs are designed to improve the quality of life for our clients, and ensure they
can remain as dignified and independent as possible for as long as they can. Our
efforts are driven by compassion, innovation, and a commitment to making a
difference in the lives of those we serve.

In looking towards the future, we are expanding our Holocaust Education Program.
This program will be multifaceted, offering a variety of ways to bring the curriculum
into schools, universities, corporations, synagogues, and more, in an effort to
continue teaching the lessons of the Holocaust and parallels of Anti Semitism and
hate crimes. We are seeking a visionary and experienced educator who specializes
in curriculum development and relationship building to serve as our new part-time
Director of Holocaust Education.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop compelling Holocaust education curriculum tailored for a diverse
    audience
  • Cultivate partnerships with schools and organizations to integrate Holocation
    education initiatives
  • Expand and manage the Speaker’s Bureau, fostering international
    engagement through podcasts and speaking engagements both in person
    and virtually
  • Present at parlor meetings to promote awareness and support for the
    Holocaust Education Program
  • Serve as the face and voice of the organization throughout the community
    and always have the best interest of the organization as a top priority

What You Will Bring:

  • Extensive teaching experience and a deep commitment to Holocaust
    education
  • Demonstrate proficiency in curriculum development and manage educational
    program
  • Experience engaging a diverse student body
  • Innovative approach to education, utilizing cutting-edge tools and trends to
    inspire learning
  • Excellent communication both verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • Ability to build lasting relationships
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritizing the
    organization's goals and mission

What You Will Receive:

  • Flexible work hours of 20-25 hours per week
  • Competitive salary range of $42-$47/hour
  • Hybrid work environment with 1 day a week in our New York City office
