Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds is currently seeking a skilled and proficient Graphic Designer to join our Marketing Department in our NYC office. This position will be a 5-month term position as a Temporary Maternal leave replacement. In this role, the individual will assist the marketing team in achieving the growing goals and objectives to meet the needs of the organization. The role involves developing creative work from concept to final execution that has a meaningful, measurable impact, supports marketing and strategic goals, and aligns with brand requirements.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT, & CONCEPTING
- Maintain a creative vision, based on the organization brand guidelines that speaks to the organization investors and prospects.
- Generate and manage creative projects and develop consistently superior visual and messaging content.
- Work with the marketing team, as well as other organization staff members, across different types of media, to create fresh, innovative concepts that enhance response strategies and achieve organization objectives.
- Responsible for current knowledge and understanding of emerging trends and technologies and the ability to institute best practices for digital and traditional marketing design.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years graphic design experience
- Understanding marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience.
- Superior creative skills (written, visual and conceptual)
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple projects.
- Excellent personal skills and presentation skills
- Self-motivation and a positive interaction with a wide range of individuals is expected
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; Canva; Office Suite
- Basic HTML knowledge is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of Constant Contact and Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Broad understanding of typography, color theory, current design and advertising trends
- Knowledge of principles and best practices for all marketing channels
- Knowledge of Jewish culture, Israeli history and customs is a plus but not required
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers and filing cabinets.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is largely a sedentary role; however, this position requires constant communication and the ability to exchange accurate information, the ability to operate a computer and other office equipment, lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Travel is not currently expected for this position.
HYBRID POSITION
Requires 4 days a week in office, with the option to work remotely on the 5th day.
