We are excited to announce an opening for a dynamic Director to lead the Jewish Community Professional (JCP) Tuition Grant Program. Now in its fourth year, this program provides grants to children of full-time Jewish community professionals attending participating, eligible Jewish day schools. The Director will be the leader and face of the JCP Tuition Grant Program and will both manage and expand the program. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, energetic leader who is eager to make a meaningful impact on a cutting-edge, innovative program. The role is ideal for a motivated professional with a passion for the nonprofit or philanthropic sectors, proven experience in donor relationship management and program oversight, and a track record of success in leadership positions.
The Director will be the lead professional for SAPIR Salon Atlanta (SSA), a quarterly forum bringing together leaders in Atlanta’s Jewish community. The Director will design and coordinate engaging sessions, collaborate closely with SSA leadership as a thought partner, and support participants in transforming ideas from the sessions into meaningful action.
Position Title: Director, JCP Tuition Grant Program
Hours: Full time (32-40 hours/week)

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Jewish Community Professional Tuition Grant Program (“JCP Program”) (75%)
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise funds for the JCP program. May be done in partnership with Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta. Includes the following:
- Manage relationship with portfolio of 15-30 high level donors supporting the JCP Fund.
- Prepare JCP Fund committee members or others for individual donor meetings.
- Educate current and potential donors in Atlanta and nationally about the program.
- Provide donor updates at least semi-annually.
- Plan and implement any fundraising event.
- Work with Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta to ensure all donations to the JCP Fund are processed, tracked, and appropriated documentation is provided to donors.
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to grow awareness of JCP Program, including:
- Create and update print, website and social media marketing materials utilizing external support (graphic designer, public relations firm, writer, etc.).
- Meet, as needed, with partner schools to discuss the program.
- Meet annually with local Jewish non-profit organizations and clergy to ensure program awareness and ensure organizations advertise the JCP Program as an employee benefit.
- Promote program to new audiences, including potential JCPs in and beyond Atlanta, potential communities, schools, donors or foundations interested in the model.
- Provide administrative support to the JCP committee including:
- Lead, organize, and schedule meetings, create meeting agendas, and distribute materials.
- Provide regular updates to committee.
- Collect and analyze annual JCP reports in January, April, June, and September to identify trends, present to stakeholders, and inform decisions about program design and growth.
- Analyze program to assess impact and identify areas of improvement including:
- Develop cost projections for future cohorts.
- Track schools’ use of reinvestment funds and compliance with annual reinvestment plans.
- Track enrollment data for JCP grant recipients and for schools overall.
- Administer and analyze annual JCP recipient survey.
- Develop and implement evaluation plan to track success. May occur with external support.
Sapir Salon Atlanta (SSA) (25%):
- Help create and plan quarterly salons inspired by the SAPIR Journal.
- Provide thought leadership on crafting the agenda with the SSA facilitator(s).
- Provide logistical event support, as needed.
- Develop and implement communications plan for Salon series and each individual salon.
- Send regular newsletters about upcoming SSA programs and Dupree/Community events.
- Support SSA participants with implementing ideas that may arise from SSA sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 10+ years of experience in Foundation, non-profit or Jewish educational leadership.
Professional qualities and technical skills:
- An energetic self-starter able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Track record of building or scaling successful initiatives.
- Comfort leading an initiative and serving as both a thought leader and partner with lay leadership.
- Effective project and time management, ability to multi-task.
- A strong interest in innovation; a tendency to think unconventionally while maintaining an understanding and respect for traditional methods and approaches.
- Fundraising with a focus on donor stewardship and relationship management.
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including board members, community leaders, organizational partners, and school representatives.
- Interpersonal skills with strong emotional intelligence.
- Strong financial acumen and proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Extensive professional or volunteer experience in the Jewish community is a plus.
Compensation:
$85,000 - $105,000 FTE, commensurate with experience.
