Hebrew School/Judaic Studies Teacher

Ashreynu is hiring! We're a musical pluralistic Jewish community in Astoria looking to add a Hebrew/Judaics teacher to our Tuesday afternoon program which runs from 3:30-5:30 every Tuesday in Astoria, at our location.

You would be teaching 2 small groups of kids ranging in ages from K-7th. You would follow our curriculum guide/monthly themes and create fun lessons that engage kids on a variety of topics that span a large range from Jewish holidays, Shabbat, Jewish history, Israeli/Jewish culture, Ivrit, t'filah, songs, Torah stories, Jewish art and Judaica, etc. Native Hebrew speakers encouraged to apply!

Previous experience managing a classroom as well as knowledge of Jewish topics required. Hiring for this role immediately. Position starts Sept 24th. 

This is an in-person only job, no remote work. You must be authorized to work in the US.
