We have a wonderful opportunity for a talented Data and IT Specialist to join a well respected and established community service organization!  In this role, the Data and It Specialist will consolidate, monitor and assist in coordinating and capturing data in various data portals or systems. This organization is looking for someone who can support the development of their data and technology infrastructure in general. Read on for more about this exciting opportunity!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess the data needs through collaboration with relevant staff.
  • Design and institute data-capture methods.
  • Provide training to users new and existing in a manner that empowers even the less tech savvy to track data with ease.
  • Provide technical assistance to users of all data systems as well as IT support.
  • Extract and analyze data on clients, programs, and services for billing reconciliation/optimization, reporting, improved system usage, and strategic planning purposes.
  • Empower program staff to run their own useful reports, building a sense of ownership and buy-in.
  • Take the lead on other projects designed to meet the data, technology, and strategic planning needs of the organization.
  • Track and manage grants data and correspondence.
  • Assist in data migration as needed.
  • Create tracking methods as needed.
  • Direct data entry and maintenance on current data system.
  • Identify and implement new systems that will benefit the organization.
  • Other tasks as needed.

Skills and Education Required:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Expert in Excel, Access, and database systems.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Effective written and oral communication skills with clients, coworkers, supervisors, other service agencies and the community.
  • A demonstarted dedication to confidentiality and an ability to handle sensitive information ethically and with integrity.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must be able to take initiative, problem solve creatively, and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Ability to anticipate and adhere to deadlines while keeping an attention to detail.
  • Experience with clinical databases a plus.
Salary60,000.00 - 70,000.00 Annual
